Inspired by the wedding of close friends, I designed Double Wedding Knots as a modern alternative to the traditional double wedding ring quilt. I wanted to create a handmade, meaningful gift that not only commemorates their union, but also celebrates a life full of happiness and friendship. As they share laughter and tears, this handcrafted piece will be displayed on their living room wall as a reminder of their commitment to one another. The quilt is a one of a kind heirloom that will be passed down to future generations.

This versatile design scales down to a sweet pillow size that can be used as oversized ring bearer pillows and can then used in the couple’s home after the wedding.
Is this a pattern that can be purchased?
Hi Janet,
At this time the pattern is only available in my Double Wedding Knots workshop (you can see my current workshop schedule here: https://www.wholecirclestudio.com/?page_id=627). There are some parts of the pattern that are challenging to describe just in words and diagrams so I share them in the workshop. If I do determine a way to share this information in the pattern, I will release in the future. The best way to be notified is to subscribe to my enewsleter (https://wholecirclestudio.com/signup).
Thank you for your interest in my work!

I’m curious whether you’ve developed a pattern for this as yet? And if not, do you have any upcoming workshops for this quilt pattern?
Hi Susan, Thank you for your interest! My next live online Double Friendship KNots workshop for the general quilting community will most likely not be offered again until mid to late 2021. My newsletter subscribers are always the first to know when new classes are available. If you’re interested, you can subscribe here: https://wholecirclestudio.com/signup
